This is a GREAT Beginner's class
but all levels of yoga knowledge
are welcome as with any class we offer.
Yin yoga is a quiet contemplative practice.
Yin yoga works deeply into our body with passive, longer-held poses.
Yin yoga targets the deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues – ligaments, joints, bones, and the deep facia networks of the body – rather than the muscles.
Energetically, Yin yoga improves the energy flow, enhancing the flow of chi in the organs. To be healthy, we need healthy organs as well as healthy muscles.
Yin offers a chance to learn the pose names as the poses / asanas transitions smoothly and you hold each pose for several minutes
and the class is focused on
restorative healing poses, Yin is lovely.
Level: Beginners to Advanced
Vinyasa, is a breath initiated practice, that connects every action of our life with the intention of moving towards what is sacred, or most important to us.
Vinyasa classes offer a variety of postures
and no two classes are ever alike.
The variable nature of Vinyasa Yoga helps to develop a more balanced body as well as prevent repetitive motion injuries that can happen if you are always doing the same thing every day.
As a philosophy, Vinyasa recognizes the temporary nature of things. We enter into a posture, are there for a while and then leave.
Vinyasa will get your blood pumping and make your body feel invigorated.
Level: Moderate/ Advanced
*Beginners always welcome*

transformative time in your life.
What to expect:

towards your changing body.
- Less anxiety about labor and delivery.
- Deeper bonding with your baby.

Level: Beginners to Advanced
In a typical "Slow Flow" class, you will practice about half the number of poses you might practice in a Flow class.
The pace is meditative, emphasizing peace and calm in body and mind.
We offer three class types in the same category as a
typical named "Slow Flow" Class
Gentle Flow
Healing Slow Flow
Slow Flow
We hold poses longer,
taking several rounds of breath in each pose,
instead of moving to each breath.
You will leave feeling awakened from the slow intentional & intuitive slow movements and connection to your body.
Level: Beginners to Advanced
Release and Restore Class
This class combines
block release therapy and yin yoga.
We begin class with gentle,
static holds on a yoga block to help
release the fascia (connective tissue)
Then hold restorative yoga postures to own the space we’ve created in the body and melt deeper into relaxation.
Blessing the body with release and restoration.
**Block Release Therapy**
In this practice you will hold
several positions on a yoga block
for a minimum of 3 minutes each.
With gravity and body weight the block is able to sink deeply into the tissue all the way to the root of your issues. The pressure and diaphragmatic breathing brings increased blood and oxygen into the fascia “melting” layers of unhealthy restrictions.
The fascia is one continual sheath of connective tissue, running from the soles of our feet to the very top of our head. When you have restrictions and adhesions in the fascia think as though you’ve stuck your finger in a spiderweb, the cause point has referred pain, or “pulling” in opposing areas of the body. Releasing adhesions and restrictions in the fascia helps to increase mobility,
flexibility and overall strength.
Your body will thank you for taking the time for this subtle yet powerful form of self care.
Level: Beginners to Advanced
Awaken & Strengthen Class
We begin class with gentle yet powerful block release therapy & then shift into slow paced strength training (resistance bands).
Starting off with yoga blocks releasing
the facia (connective tissue) will
ensure you are training the muscles &
fascia correctly, also creating proper heat
& mobility within the body.
Then we will round out the class
with some light stretching.
Your body will feel
awakened, stronger & more flexible!

Root•Rise•Release Class
This 75 minute class combines block release therapy, slow flow yoga and meditation.
The use of yoga blocks, gravity and diaphragmatic breathing increases blood and oxygen to areas of tension and restriction.
As you explore the body releasing these adhesions, your body can move more
freely and hold various yoga postures
more effectively giving you the
opportunity to fully embody this
practice of mind-body connection.
Closing the class with a guided meditation and savasana allows you the space to relax and receive the benefits.

Flow/ Yin Yoga

Cardio// Strength// Flow
~ Alicia
From Amanda - Yoga first found me nearly 10 years ago when I was invited to my first Buti Yoga class. I thought for sure I had heard the name wrong, but after experiencing my first class there was no going back. I had never experienced such a liberating and life-giving movement style until I stepped on my mat and finally felt free.
The powerful combination of yoga asanas, tribal dance, and plyometrics began to transform me from the inside out.
Whether you are a seasoned Yogi or it’s your first time stepping on a yoga mat, I invite you to take a moment to reconnect with yourself and to feel human again. BREATHE. Close your eyes. Pound your chest. Hit the floor. Jump. Roll. MOVE YOUR BODY. Step into your power. Come back to your roots and play. I can’t wait to move with you!
Beata Tyminski is a certified - RYT 200 hour.
Her love for yoga started after experiencing the gentle style of Ananda Yoga & Healing Slow Flow.
She truly believes in Yoga principles, and endeavors to live by them in her everyday life.
In her class she focuses on incorporating breath to relax the body, to calm the mind and to bring each individual deeply inward.
I found yoga in 2006. What started out as a curiosity for a new "workout" turned into the work IN of a lifetime. Every time I stepped on my mat; it was an adventure in self-discovery. Over time my practice became my safe space and my mat my best friend. I slowly began to immerse myself in literature and workshops until finally taking the first of many teacher trainings in 2017. I never had the intention to teach. Before I even completed my first training, I was asked to lead a weekly series of meditation workshops. When I saw the power of what the core of this practice can offer to those that were seeking to travel inward, how it could help heal and connect in ways nothing else could, I knew the importance of what I had been tasked with. Moving forward it has been my privilege to hold for anyone looking for greater self-connection. Now in my 40's as a mother of 3 and a wife I am more committed than ever to living my yoga OFF my mat as well as on. While I appreciate the power yoga that was my introduction to the practice my endless desire for growth has led me to extensive inner work with plant medicine, breath and trauma healing. My constant search for evolution has led me to certifications in yoga, reiki and healing breathwork as well as intuitively guided me into my journey as a sound healer. I am passionate about guiding others in their journey to tapping into their own inner healer. I find myself constantly shifting and expanding so that my offers are an inclusive space! I hope to bring a dynamic and introspective practice where ALL HUMANS from all walks of life can connect mind, body, and spirit safely and lovingly.
Look forward to a friendly and welcoming atmosphere when you attend Megan’s class.
She encourages you to let go of expectations and to stay curious and open on your yoga journey.
Her approach adds a touch of light-hearted play, reminding you to not take yoga too seriously.
She believes that you are your best healer and teacher, and empowers you to trust your guidance from within.
Her teaching draws from her background in psychology, yoga, dance, herbal medicine, and energy healing.
She also offers pregnancy loss support.
I discovered yoga in 2007, while taking college courses. Practicing with friends and family here and there, embracing my own practice weekly.
It was my move to the area when I joined a group to empower women and do yoga with no judgment.
My love for yoga grew and grew, warmer and warmer brighter and brighter.
Yoga has been so life altering for me, that I feel I
can do nothing other than share this gift
that has been given to myself.
My 200 hour Yoga Teacher
Trauma Informed Training- this past year,
has brought all the discoveries & dream possible.
My hopes are to create an environment for purpose, to fade and journey oneself in an
incredible healing practice of yoga.
I welcome all at any level to come, let go of all stress and strains of everyday life and benefit from the amazing power of yoga to transform the body and mind.
My name is Kelly, and I'm so grateful to offer yoga
weekly at Breathe and Balance Yoga.
I have been practicing for over 20 years, and am a recent graduate of a 200 hour teacher training program this past summer/ fall.
I had been interested in deepening my practice through teacher training for some time, and the timing of finding this offering was absolutely perfect. I will forever feel the gift of this training and self-introspection is one of the most amazing opportunities I've experienced in my lifetime.
Yoga is for everyone. Please come as you are, and you will be met and cared for exactly where you are...
I endeavor to offer classes that are authentic and full of gratitude.
I am so thankful to all who take the time to
show up, and honor their body and mind
with some well-earned time for self-care.
My goal is that you leave feeling so much release after moving your body, quieting your thoughts, and mindfully inhaling and exhaling.
I enjoy teaching movement, breath,
and weaving in some wisdom
with readings from my current favorite resources.
My interests outside of yoga include running, paddle-boarding, hiking, and attending high school sports events for my boys.
My husband and I have lived in Roseville since 2002 (Owner of StrollerFit- Exercise With Your Baby 2004-2009), and Rocklin since 2009.
We love this community, and being actively involved.
I offer a weekly vinyasa flow class Thursdays at 9am,
and you might find me subbing for yin or slow flow as well.
Can't wait to welcome you to the studio soon!
